 This wwe svr 2009 video game is based the professional wrestling promotion. WWE is named after the promotion's two brands will parts of Raw and SmackDown. The game introduced new match type named Inferno match. This match contains fire in that ring.
And new game modes: Create-a-Finisher, Road to WrestleMania, Career mode and more.

Road to Wrestlemania:-
 The Road to WrestleMania mode debuted in this game, This mode contain storylines for

2. Triple H
3. Chris Jericho
4. Cm Punk
5. The Undertaker
6. Batista and Rey Mysterio (tag team storyline).

Single Player Story line:-
 John Cena, Triple H, Chris jericho, Cm Punk, or The Undertaker. All single player storylines are made with different cutscenes and tailor in Which wrestlers you choose thats based.

 New tag team mode with co-operative storyline was also included in which players can take the parts of Rey Mysterio and Batista.

Career Mode:-
 Unlikely the RTW mode, all superstars & divas featured in this game are eligible to play including Create-A-Superstar players. Aim is in this career mode is fight and grow up the rankings and gets a title shot. After evey single match, the player's character is awarded attribute points based your match.

Game Play:-
 Match gameplay new ways of tagging the player's tag team partner in a tag team match such as the hot tag, which can help save the player in the match if they are in trouble to win that match, and forced to blind tag, where the illegal partner can tag herself in the ring. The legal player's tag team partner has more lot of help by holding an opponent on the ropes while on the apron, and sending oppenent out of the ring by pulling down the ropes when, opponent running near the ropes. Teams will now share their attributes and double team finishers.

 SvR 2009 game is introduce the first ever Inferno match in this game. In this match ring surrounded by fire coming in gas fed pipes. Oppent puts to weak health then throw oppenent on fire to wins this match. To win this match player must increase the temperature of the fire by performing on oppenent had more devastating moves. When fire temperature reaches 500°F the player can then begin to set their opponent on fire. To set a person on fire, you raise the temperature to maximum. Then drag the oppenent towards the ropes provided that the opponent is low health.

 Backstage brawl match, where players can battle in either the locker room with a variety of weapons to use to knockout oppenents. The Gauntlet match is newly featured match in SvR 09. This match one superstar takes on three wrestlers one beats, immediately after the second oppenent will star the match. Unlike the other WWE games General Manager mode, Create Championship belts were removed from the SmackDown vs Raw 2009 PSP version.

 Fighting styles, a major feature styles were removed. New to the game is inclusion signature moves, moves secondary in importance next to their finishing move. When reach full momentum, the players can store a signature move and can perform that finishing move later.

 A new semi-auto targeting system was
added in this game, this system will automatically target a particular wrestler the player who wants to attack this will controlled by the player.

Create modes:-
 This SvR 2009 series introduce a new Create Mode called, Create-A-Finisher. The player can choose up to 10 out of maximum 500 animations to make a unique finishing moves with the choice to speed up or slow down the moves. Created finishers are limited to moves starting with both wrestlers standing face to face.

 A roster editor, you can change the wrestler's brand Raw or Smackdown, face or heel disposition and hold championship belts for exhibition matches. Also added Create A Stable mode has to edit teams under the Team Management.

 The Create An Entrance mode is now extended with feature created entrances for tag teams, it features interactive entrances and victory celebrations. Successful poses during the player's entrance give them more momentum and bonuses in that match.
